For my June bullet journal set up, I am starting a new journal today! I absolutely adore the pattern to this journal. Since I love summer and everything that goes along with it here it goes!
So, I decided the front page’s quote to be the Serenity Prayer. I love seeing this prayer to remind me of the control I do and don’t have. I’m thinking this might be appropriate for the chaos of the ever-changing summer plans!
I’m sticking with my monthly lay out for June. “Sun and Fun” is the theme for the month! I will be using the space right next to the calendar days for birthday’s and all day activities even though I don’t have a line down the page. I like having the flexibility of using that space if I need it. After the “Post Meridiem” section I have each of our initials, and those columns are used for specific travel or other events for just that person. My husband travels quite a bit, and with us traveling this summer I thought it would be a good idea to continue with it through the summer. The next column over is a “habit tracker” for SAVERS from the book, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
Next, I have my June Memories page and my Gratitude page. I am sticking with June’s “Sun and Fun” theme, and have incorporated a beach ball with a great quote “Time is a pool to swim & dream & create in” ~J. Woodman. I can so relate to this!
This is something I have been playing around with for the last few months. I have wanted to keep something in my planner for receipts, especially when I am paying cash. We use Quicken to keep track of our spending and savings. So, I have been using this expense layout for the past two months and it’s been working well. I’m not ready to say it’s perfect though, but it’s really helped. In one of my previous lives I worked as a financial planner and I will do a blog about finances and bullet journals soon. Hopefully, it will help people with the upcoming holidays.
Next to it is my cleaning schedule. I have seen many of these across the internet, and I did a little research and decided to track these particular things. By the way, did you know you are suppose to wash sheets and towels weekly?
Finally, here is my weekly layout, and I’m loving it! I will write a post about this and daily pages later this month. Please sign up for my newsletter so you won’t miss it!
